AUTHOR SPOTLIGHT & GIVEAWAY: Janine Caldwell

Self-proclaimed late bloomer Janine Caldwell, YA author of The Vortex Series, didn’t decide to become a writer until she was 30. “Not for any lack of love for reading,” she explains. Janine has always loved literature and received a B.A. in English from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo located off the central coast of California. “I just never believed I could write for a living since it’s something I exceedingly enjoy to do.”

The first two books in Janine’s debut YA series are REMATCH and DOUBLE FAULT, a supernatural romance that plays out what would happen if you could jump back to your past and live your life out differently. The third and final book in the series, DEUCE, Janine plans to publish in 2013.

Janine currently lives in Arizona with her husband and two sons. When she’s not writing, she’s practicing yoga, spending time with her family and friends, or getting caught up on the latest YA series.
