Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Breaking the Spine that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.
According to the guys at Fairfield Academy, there are two types of girls: the kind you hook up with, and the kind you're friends with. Seventeen-year-old Alyssa Reed is the second type. And she hates it. I don't get to read as much Young Adult contemporary as I would like, and it's my absolute favourite!! I love friends to lovers type of stories, and this one's written in dual POV's. The Fine Art of Pretending is ticking all the boxes for me.

Oh my gosh, I JUST saw this on another WoW post! I LOVE the sound of it though! I don't think I read enough contemporary YA either, and this one just sounds so cute. Great pick!
