My Thoughts:
When I first came across this book I was so excited to read it. I loved the cover!! It's so incredibly simple but so appealing to me at the same time. Then I read the book description and knew that I had to add it to my TBR list immediately!!! So when the blog tour was announced I jumped at the chance to be involved!!
Savannah Fraser is returning home from a party with her three friends when she is involved in a car accident and they are all killed. They are healed and bought back to life by a group of spirits who request their help in defeating The Forces, who are a group of evil spirits.
Faded is a story that is very big on dialogue but not so much the scene description. I felt that there were parts that could have been shortened to make for a more flowing story but overall it was an enjoyable read.
I really enjoyed the bits of back story that we got regarding a few of the characters. During some chapters we were taken back in time to relive things that were impacting on the present situations that the characters found themselves in.
I also enjoyed the relationships between the characters of the book and while Savannah and Hunter are the ones who are mentioned in the book description I felt that there were a whole group of them whose story was portrayed just as prominently.
I'm hoping that in book two we see more of Savannah's growth into the person with the amazing powers and strength that everyone keeps eluding too. I think that during this book we have just touched the tip of the iceberg.
