Blurb:
It's Wait for You as you've never seen it. Trust in Me lets you in on Cam's side of the #1 New York Times bestselling story.

Cameron Hamilton is used to getting what he wants, especially when it comes to women. But when Avery Morgansten comes crashing into his life—literally—he finally meets the one person who can resist his soulful baby blues. But Cam's not ready to give up. He can't get the feisty and intriguing girl out of his head.

Avery has secrets, secrets that keep her from admitting the feelings Cam knows she has for him. Will persistence (and some delicious homemade cookies) help him break down her barriers and gain her trust? Or will he be shut out of Avery's life, losing his first real shot at the kind of love that lasts forever?

My Thoughts:

She held my gaze and then closed her eyes, turning her head to the side, causing our skin to glide together. "You're a good guy Cam."

"No, I'm not." I breathed her in, making a silent promise that I would always be whatever she needed me to be. "I'm only good with you."

J. Lynn, Jennifer L. Armentrout... it doesn't really matter what name this author writes under. All it really boils down to is the fact that her writing is superb and she manages to completely knock it out of the ball park every. single. time!!  Whether it be paranormal or contemporary, Jennifer L. Armentrout's characters are all witty, real and completely relatable. There is no better way to feel attachment to a story than being able to feel that connection to a character, or being able to laugh along with them, or curl up in a ball right alongside them and feel their pain.

When I read Wait For You, it took me all of about thirty seconds to fall head over heels for Cam. Completely and utterly gone!! So the chance to be inside his head. I was all over that!! And let me tell you, it was perfect. Absolutely freaking perfect!! Who knew that I could possibly love him more than I already did. Give me the guys point of view any day. There is just something that is just that little bit more when you're in the guys head. Maybe it's passion, or that they are less restrained in their thoughts. Or maybe it's just that seeing the guy come completely undone over a woman is what does it for me. I mean, who doesn't want a guy to love them like that?

I was glad she was asleep, because the thought of her knowing how badly my hands shook would probably have been embarrassing as hell. Boy, they were trembling too, like I'd never touched a girl before.
Avery...hell, she completely undid me.

After reading Wait For You, I jumped straight into reading Trust In Me, and I admit to being a little concerned about it just feeling like I was reading the same book all over again. But never once did it feel like that to me. Yes, I knew how the story was going to go. I knew what was going to happen between the characters, but Cam's voice was just so compelling. His head was the most perfect place to be. His love for Avery was very apparent in the first book but to get his thoughts and feelings first hand was incredible.Cam is like the perfect man. He is confident, he bakes cookies, he loves with so much passion.

This was her first -- I was her first kiss. No one could take that away from us. And no matter what happened a week from now or a month, we would always have this. A primal male pride wrapped itself around me.

My heart broke for Avery when I read her side of things in the first book. What she endured was simply horrid. Seeing Avery through Cam's eyes added a whole new layer to Avery. It was Cam's patience with Avery that really showed how much he loved her. She took so long to come around but he never wavered in what he wanted.

Another thing that I loved was getting a little insight into Jase. I'm so excited at the prospect of getting to know him better in the next book, Be With Me.

I'm pretty sure that Jennifer L. Armentrout is incapable of writing anything that isn't completely outstanding. I have not read one of her books and not fallen completely in love. Her amazing ability to write such witty characters continues to draw me in. And I'm sure it will continue to do so for as long as she continues to write.

5/5 Perfect, Sexy, Cameron Hamilton Stars!!
